About LABA
The Latin American Business Association (LABA) at UCLA Anderson School of Management is a student-run organization that represents a mixture of MBA candidates, faculty and alumni from around the world who share a passion for Latin America. Our interests in Latin America include the diverse cultures and traditions, the languages and people, and the unique business opportunities the region presents.
Mission
Developing mutually beneficial and long-term relationships among Anderson students, faculty, alumni, and the Latin American Business Community.
Objectives
- Operate as an integration platform for Latin American Students to develop a sustainable Latin American Network for the future. “Colleagues, business partners and friends”.
- Support the administration in strengthening Anderson’s positioning and presence in Latin America while positioning the Latin American community within the Anderson Academic and Administrative environment.
- Support Latin American Students in their quest to retain a job offer in the US or Latin America and students from other regions in their quest to retain a job offer in Latin America.
- Support Latin American students interested in entrepreneurship.
